Bogus

So, we went skiing last weekend at "BOO-GUS." Makayla was a natural. She took to the slopes like a fish in water. I was so proud of her. Jas was a great sport and strapped on a pair of skis himself. I just might be able to convert the guy!! :) Thanks for inviting us Nicole!

Kayla is so independent and strong willed she just wanted me to get out of her way. It felt good to get back on the mountain. It has been about nine years since I've gone.

We stopped by Applebees after hitting the bunny hill. Makayla mentioned to Jason that pop is bad for him when he ordered his Mountain Dew. When the waiter offered Jason a refill, and he accepted, Makayla replied, "Actually, could you please just bring him a WATER?" You should have seen the look on the waiter's face. It was priceless. Jason and I laughed so hard. Jason didn't even touch the refill and made a resolve to cut back on the pop.

TAG, I'M IT!

I’ve been tagged by belly-dancin’ Keri…

So, I have been procrastinating about this tag for a while now. Mainly, it’s because I’ve had a hard time thinking of 7 interesting facts about myself. So, here goes.

1. I can successfully procrastinate; which to me, means that I am able to put things off that I should do now until much later. This does not necessarily mean that the outcome is successful, but the procrastination part is.

2. Ever since I was given the honor of being “student of the month” and interviewed in my high school’s student newspaper, which went horribly wrong, I hesitate to do this type of stuff. How was I supposed to know what ‘sexy mo fo’ meant???

3. I like to read magazines from back to front. And I hate throwing them away. What gives?

4. My sister, Jen, and I once caused a car to run off the road simply because we waved at the occupants…Did I mention we were in our clown outfits on our way to a children’s birthday party? We did feel bad about that one.

5. I love the library. The library should hire me to promote it.

6. Sometimes I laugh at the most inappropriate times. i.e. When my husband slips and falls on ice, when my son cries while going through the car wash. Why is that funny????

7. I have no athletic skills whatsoever. The lowest score I received in elementary school was in P.E. The teacher’s suggestion was to practice “dribbling the ball.” I am so glad my husband is well skilled in this area, or my kid’s wouldn’t stand a chance!

whew..

So now I need to tag 7 more people! So, please consider yourself "tagged". You can post your interesting facts on your blog, facebook, etc. Be sure to send it back to me so I can learn more about you!
